NBK Fit is a personal fitness tracker. This explains exactly what it collects, where that goes, and how to get rid of it. It is written to be read, not survived.

Who runs NBK Fit

NBK Fit is made and published by Matthew Cunnelly, an independent developer based in the United Arab Emirates. That is the same name you will see listed as the seller on the App Store.

Matthew Cunnelly is the data controller for everything described below. For any question about your data, or to exercise a right over it, write to contact@nbksocial.com and a person will reply. A postal address is available on request.

What NBK Fit collects

What you log. Steps, gym sessions, calories, water and morning weight, by day. Plus your targets, your gym days, and the profile details you choose to enter: first name, height, date of birth and sex.

What Apple Health gives it. With your permission, NBK Fit reads steps, weight, calories, water and a wider set of readings such as heart rate, sleep and body composition, so you do not have to type them.

Your account. Sign in with Apple is the only way to sign in. NBK Fit receives the identifier Apple gives it and an email address. If you choose Hide My Email, that address is Apple's private relay, so NBK Fit never sees your real one. There is no password, because NBK Fit never handles one.

What it does not collect

Apple Health specifically

NBK Fit only ever reads from Apple Health. It never writes to it, so it cannot alter what other apps see.

You choose which categories to share when you connect, and can change or revoke that at any time in the Health app under Sharing, or in iOS Settings under Privacy and Security. Revoking access does not delete what has already been read; use account deletion for that.

Health data read by NBK Fit is stored in your own account so it survives a lost phone. It is never stored in iCloud.

Where your data lives

On your phone, and in a Supabase database hosted in the EU, tied to your account. Access is enforced per user at the database level, so one account can never read another's data. Traffic is encrypted in transit.

Deleting everything

In the app: More, then Delete account and data. You choose:

Either way the app on your phone is wiped at once and you are signed out.

Your Apple sign-in itself is not destroyed, because the same login can be used with other apps from the same publisher. After deletion it holds nothing of yours in NBK Fit, and signing in again begins an empty account.

Notifications

Optional, and scheduled entirely on your device. NBK Fit sends no push notifications from a server and holds no push tokens.

Children

NBK Fit is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under 13.

Medical disclaimer

NBK Fit is a tracking tool. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose or treat anything, and nothing in it is medical advice. Figures it calculates, such as BMI, are arithmetic from numbers you provide. Talk to a qualified professional about what any of it means for you.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected here with a new date at the top.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, or delete it outright. Deletion is built into the app and needs no request. For anything else, email and you will get a reply from a person.
